The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is actually alarmed about the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The services issue developed for intervention ordeals a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
